Satcom Solutions has a used SeaTel 4003 Marine VSAT Antenna System available for sale.
This system was removed from service by a yacht communications company in Fort Lauderdale. Although it is used, the system was removed from a working environment and was fully tested prior to being offered for sale.
The system includes the SeaTel 4003 antenna, DAC 2200 antenna controller, LNB, and 4W BUC, providing a complete solution for marine satellite communications.

Tested & Ready for Service
The SeaTel 4003 was tested using a Network Validation Unit on a live satellite network and was found to be operational.
The system also passed cross-polarization isolation testing at -30 dB on IS-23.
This gives the buyer additional confidence that the system is not simply an untested used antenna, but equipment that has been checked for proper operation.

There is no single minimum boat length that applies to every vessel. The suitability of the SeaTel 4003 depends on the vessel’s construction, stability, mounting location, and overall configuration.
As a general guideline:
- Heavy metal construction: approximately 60-foot minimum vessel length
- Composite construction: approximately 80-foot minimum vessel length
These are general guidelines only. Proper installation should take into account the vessel’s structure, available mounting location, antenna weight, center of gravity, and expected vessel motion.
