Description
Boonton 42B Power Meter complete with power head and cable, is an old school analog power meter. In truth it’s a microwatt meter, but with the appropriate padding it can read up to 99 watts of power in the C-Band frequency range.
The photograph shows our cheap Boonton power meter in comparison with a state-of-the-art Agilent digital power meter, the major difference between the two is that the Boonton is $3000 cheaper than the Agilent.
The side by side comparison was made using an Actox 20W C-Band BUC and a cross-guide coupler with two output ports. Photographs in the Gallery show the cross-guide coupler with both power heads attached.
On request we can send a hard copy manual with each purchase.
